The Challenge
Valcorp Fine Foods, the company responsible for top end brands
such as Lavazza and La Gina, approached Next Digital to develop a
website for Sirena, Australia's number one selling tuna product.
They wanted to develop a website that was both innovative and
dynamic, but also focused around user friendliness. It was also
very important that the site content be easy to update and
replicate into a template for any further sites that could be built
in the future.
Our Strategy
To achieve this, we implemented a user friendly Content
Management System, which was easily managed by non technical staff
at Valcorp. To increase the functionality of the site, and
consequent engagement with consumers, we also implemented a 'Recipe
of the Day' area that better allowed visitors to the site to
interact with the Sirena brand. As well as this, we built a search
function for more intuitive navigation and an opt-in database form,
which further down the track would allow for further digital
marketing.
The Results
By the end of the project, the client was very happy with the
resulting website. Not only were they pleased with the visual
aesthetic created, but the website proved to be very easy to update
internally, especially by non technical staff members. Hoping to
move further into the online space, Valcorp expressed a desire to
further partner with Next Digital in promoting their products
through Paid Search, Search Engine Optimisation and Online Display
Advertising.
