The Challenge
Over the past ten years, Sonic Healthcare, the iconic Australian
company has expanded globally, acquiring new businesses, and
evolving into one of the world's largest providers of medical
technology solutions. Consequently, they required a redevelopment
of their website, one that better reflected the new ethos of the
company, a dynamic global organisation. We were tasked with
developing the site, and articulating the company's new position,
with a design that was visually first-rate, as well as
user-friendly and functional.
Our Strategy
Due to the importance placed on the creative aspect of the
project, we underwent a rigorous design phase to ensure we met the
requirements of Sonic Healthcare. Once, the creative had been
approved, we then worked with Sonic Healthcare to develop
functionalities that would support and emphasise the global nature
of the company. At all points of the project we partnered with
Sonic Healthcare in a consultative approach to ensure the best
possible outcome.
The Results
To emphasise the global aspect of the company, an interactive
map illustrated Sonic Healthcare offices around the world was
included, as well as a continuously updated Contacts page that
showed the local time of each person on the list. Sonic Healthcare
was very happy with the end result, an interactive, visually
superior website that was easily updatable by their non technical
staff.
