Next Digital hits a six with Melbourne Cricket Club win
Next Digital, Australia's largest digital marketing & services agency, has won the website redevelopment projects for the Melbourne Cricket Club (MCC), Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) and the new National Sports Museum (NSM).
The three websites are due to be launched early next year. The NSM site will be ready in early-February, ahead of the Museum's physical opening in March, while the refurbished club and ground websites will be unveiled in late-March, 2008.
"We are absolutely thrilled with this win," Arthur Spanos, Next Digital Managing Director said. "The MCG and MCC are icons of Melbourne and Australia. They are landmarks of our country and we look forward to creating online attractions to match."
Next Digital will also manage digital communications for the three entities.
"We were impressed with Next Digital's ability to deliver a powerful digital solution," Scott Butler, MCC General Manager, Member and Customer Services said. "Our new sites will deliver a new, updated service to our members and the general public to make their experiences better and more useful."
Next Digital has approx. 200 staff in offices in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Bangkok and Shanghai.
In December 2007, Next Digital was purchased by ASX-listed CommQuest. CommQuest Limited (CQU) is an end-to-end marketing services organisation, specialising in servicing medium to large corporate and government clients.
