OfficeMax (OMX) is a leading online stationary retailer in the Australasian market. After partnering with third party ‘bricks and mortar’ retailer, Australia Post and OfficeMax put out a tender for a new eCommerce website to encompass their Australian, New Zealand and third party business. After winning a competitive tender process, Next Digital was selected to develop a Magento eCommerce solution.
Office Max required a solution that could manage their vast product list while providing users with a quality experience online. Their requirements included enterprise level search, compare and contrast features as well as functionality to build and maintain an email marketing database.
As a precursor to the development phase, Next Digital delivered a Digital Strategy to Officemax that fed into the best practice eCommerce features, Content and Digital Marketing tactics. To launch the new website, Next Digital developed the 90 Second Office that offered entrants the opportunity to win a $10,000 office. The competition was promoted across SEO, SEM, email marketing and social media and drove increased traffic to the new site.
